The Radiology department is one of the best in the state started in the year 1957. The MRT 2 years Diploma Course is recognized by Christian Medical Association of India. The above course imparts training to the students to take routine radiographs of different parts of the human body & performs special radiological procedures. Five students will be admitted every year. The student will receive instruction in physics (electricity & apparatus construction) anatomy & physiology, Basics of photography & Radiography. Then, patient care, Radiographic positioning & Technique. They will be taught special procedures & contrast investigation of different systems of the body. Also will be given sample experience accompanied by trained staff for guidance & supervision. The course has been running successfully as per the C.M.A.I guidelines. The application can be obtained from the hospital office from 1st of June, the classes begin from the month of August. On successful completion of this course, the diploma is awarded by the C.M.A.I.
